Éducation au Maroc : les parents, plus ambitieux pour leurs filles que pour leurs garçons

À quoi rêvent les parents marocains pour leurs enfants ? C’est la question à laquelle a tenté de répondre le Conseil supérieur de l’Éducation, de la Formation et de la Recherche scientifique dans une récente étude.

Les parents marocains rêvent d’un plus grand avenir pour leurs filles que pour leurs garçons. C’est une des leçons à retenir de la dernière étude publiée par le Conseil supérieur de l’Éducation, de la Formation et de la Recherche scientifique (CSEFRS) sur la perception des ménages quant à l’éducation au Maroc.

Viser plus haut pour les filles

Dans l’ensemble, 42,4 % des 3 000 ménages interrogés dans tout le royaume rêvent que leurs filles décrochent un jour un doctorat contre un point de moins pour les garçons. L’écart est davantage perceptible pour les populations urbaines : 51,9 % pour les filles contre 49,5 % pour les garçons.

Ces ambitions se font sentir aussi concernant les métiers qu’ils envisagent pour leur progéniture. Côté fille, on incite davantage à l’indépendance offerte par les professions libérales. Pour les garçons, on aspire plutôt à la sécurité de l’emploi dans le secteur public. De manière générale, ce dernier séduit largement plus que le secteur privé qui totalise seulement 2,7 % des aspirations de carrière pour les garçons et 2,6 % pour les filles.

The Africa CDC is Africa’s first continent-wide public health entity and envisions a safer, healthier, integrated, and stronger Africa, where the Member States are capable of effectively responding to outbreaks of infectious diseases and other public health threats. Administratively, Africa CDC is designed to operate a decentralized model that allows it to work with National Public Health Institutes (NPHIs) of AU Member States, through five Regional Collaborating Centers located in Egypt, Gabon, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia, for the Northern Africa, Central Africa, Eastern Africa, Western Africa, and Southern Africa regions respectively.
