Côte d’Ivoire : l’INP-HB lance un mastère avec l’École des Ponts

L’Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny et l’École des Ponts ont signé un accord pour la création d’un mastère professionnel en transport et aménagement urbain. Les cours débuteront en 2020.

C’est le début d’une coopération qui devrait durer. L’Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) de Yamoussoukro et l’École des Ponts ParisTech ont signé le 22 janvier 2019, un accord prévoyant la création d’un mastère professionnel en transport et aménagement urbain. La première cohorte d’auditeurs professionnels devrait commencer les cours début 2020.

Main d’oeuvre pour grands travaux

Pour l’INP-HB, il s’agit de répondre à un besoin criant de main d’œuvre dans le secteur qui se chiffrerait à une centaine d’ingénieurs au cours des deux ans à venir. En cause, plusieurs projets d’infrastructure corollaires du grand Abidjan. Notamment la construction de ligne de métros ou le projet d’intégration ville-port du grand Abidjan (Pidu) dont un accord de financement à hauteur de 315 millions de dollars a été signé en septembre 2018 entre le ministère de l’Économie et des Finance et la Banque mondiale. Son objectif est de pallier les lacunes dont souffre le port en matière de transport et de logistique.

Un programme de 350 heures

« Le programme s’organisera vraisemblablement sous la forme d’une semaine de cours par mois pendant 10 mois, soit 350 heures de formation en tout. Elles seront sanctionnées par une thèse professionnelles », explique Sophie Mougard, directrice de l’École des Ponts ParisTech.

Sur le fond, le programme qui sera inséré dans l’offre de l’École supérieure de travaux publics (ESTP) de l’INP-HP balaiera l’ensemble des thématiques à maîtriser sur le secteur : un volet sera consacré à l’économie des transports, à la construction, la maintenance et l’exploitation d’infrastructure de transport ferroviaire et lagunaire. Un autre devrait aborder la question de la logistique de ports de fret, leur accessibilité notamment par voie ferrée ou autres systèmes de transport. Un module devrait être consacré au pilotage de projet. Enfin, les compétences relationnelles ou soft skills ne devraient pas non plus être négligées.

100 % d’employabilité

Co-conçu par l’INP-HB et l’École des Ponts le programme est développé en partenariats avec les entreprises concernés par ces grands projets. « Nous travaillons avec l’ensemble des entreprises du groupement ivoirien du BTP et je peux vous dire que pour le moment, le taux d’employabilité de nos ingénieurs est de 100 % », avance Koffi N’Guessan, directeur général de l’INP-HB. Au sein de ce groupement d’entreprise se trouvent de grands noms internationaux comme Colas, Vinci ou Bouygues mais aussi des entreprises locales comme la Compagnie ivoirienne d’électricité ou la Sotaci, spécialisée dans les tubes d’acier d’aluminium.
