Classement : le top 4 des universités africaines préférées des recruteurs

Le Maroc et l’Afrique du Sud figurent au dernier classement mondial des universités appréciées des recruteurs publié par le magazine spécialisé Times Higher Education.

Elles sont loin derrière les établissements occidentaux mais figurent quand même au palmarès. Les universités sud-africaines du Cap et de Stellenbosch, ainsi que l’université internationale de Casablanca au Maroc et l’université Witwatersrand également en Afrique du Sud, sont les quatre établissements africains figurant au classement 2018 des universités qui préparent le mieux les étudiants au monde de l’entreprise.

Employabilité

Le palmarès, qui a été réalisé par le magazine spécialisé, Times Higher Education (THE) et le cabinet HR consultancy emerging, a classé 250 établissements de 41 pays selon les retours d’employeurs. Il en ressort que certaines universités, bien classées au classement général, le sont moins bien lorsqu’il s’agit d’évaluer leur capacité à préparer les étudiants au marché du travail.

L’université de Witwatersrand, placée dans la première moitié des 200 meilleures au monde au classement mondial et troisième au niveau panafricain, est ainsi la dernière du classement mondial et panafricain des universités préférées des recruteurs.

Percée d’un établissement marocain

À l’inverse, l’université internationale de Casablanca, qui ne figure même pas au classement THE général, est ici à la troisième place panafricaine. Cet établissement privé, propriété de l’homme d’affaires Mohamed Kabbaj depuis janvier 2018 via son holding KMR, dispense des formations dans des secteurs porteurs comme la santé, l’ingénierie, le commerce ou le management touristique et hôtelier.

Du reste, ces quatre établissements demeurent bien loin des universités occidentales. Harvard university, California institute of technology et Massachusetts institute of technology demeurent les plus prisées des recruteurs.

The Africa CDC is Africa’s first continent-wide public health entity and envisions a safer, healthier, integrated, and stronger Africa, where the Member States are capable of effectively responding to outbreaks of infectious diseases and other public health threats. Administratively, Africa CDC is designed to operate a decentralized model that allows it to work with National Public Health Institutes (NPHIs) of AU Member States, through five Regional Collaborating Centers located in Egypt, Gabon, Kenya, Nigeria, and Zambia, for the Northern Africa, Central Africa, Eastern Africa, Western Africa, and Southern Africa regions respectively.
