Avant de se lancer en Afrique de l’Ouest, Talan recrute 300 personnes à Tunis

L’entreprise de service numérique qui veut conquérir des parts de marché au Maghreb et en Afrique de l’Ouest, table sur 300 recrutements en 2018 pour des postes de développeurs et d'intégrateurs basés à Tunis.

La nouvelle a fait un peu de bruit lors de son annonce au salon Vivatech de Paris en juin 2017. Mais depuis, très peu de détails ont été donnés sur les 1 000 recrutements que Talan, société française de conseil en transformation digitale, a prévu d’effectuer d’ici 2020 à Tunis. Malgré des prévisions 2017 revues à la baisse, 200 personnes ont déjà été recrutées. 300 devraient intégrer l’entreprise en 2018 et 400 en 2019.

Profils techniques et jeunes

Les postes à pourvoir sont tous basés à Tunis, mais les consultants sont parfois appelés à se déplacer en mission sur le site des clients du Groupe en Europe et en Afrique. « Nous fonctionnons en nearshore, c’est à dire que nos consultants travaillent pour le compte des clients européens et africains du Groupe « , explique Behjet Boussofara, directeur général Afrique de l’entreprise cofondée il y a 16 ans par Mehdi Houas, Éric Benamou et Philippe Cassoulat.

Pour le moment, la majorité des recrutements concerne des développeurs web, PHP, Symfony ou Java, mais également des intégrateurs et des ingénieurs de test et de support.

« Nous proposons des retours à certains profils de la diaspora en France, mais le gros des recrutements se fait sur des talents Tunisiens mais aussi Marocains et Algériens », explique Behjet Boussofara, directeur général Afrique de l’entreprise de services numériques.

Pour cela, les recruteurs de Talan démarchent directement des écoles d’ingénieurs locales comme l’Ensi, l’Insat, Esprit, Enis, FST ou encore l’ENI Carthage. Ils se chargent ensuite de les former eux-mêmes. Pour les profils junior et les plus expérimentés, l’entreprise mise sur les canaux classiques de recrutement (site emploi, réseaux sociaux, candidatures spontanées) mais aussi sur la cooptation, une recette qui fonctionne en France où 30 % des nouveaux arrivants sont recrutés sur recommandation des collaborateurs.

La suite du recrutement comporte deux entretiens RH et un technique, où les compétences sont testées via des quizz et des tests de code.

Une ambition africaine

Ce recrutement massif s’inscrit dans le programme gouvernemental Smart Tunisia, qui veut stimuler l’emploi dans le secteur numérique par des incitations fiscales et créer ainsi 50 000 emplois d’ici 2020.

Mais si Talan s’investit autant au Maghreb – la société est également présente à Casablanca au Maroc – c’est parce que l’entreprise souhaite conquérir le marché africain dont elle est convaincu du potentiel : « La Côte d’Ivoire, le Burkina Faso et le Sénégal sont de réels relais de croissance et regorgent de profils de qualité », relève Behjet Boussofara.

Une prise de conscience du dirigeant, confronté à la difficulté d’adaptation des collaborateurs tunisiens sur des longs séjours et au climat subsaharien. De quoi justifier l’installation prochaine d’une nouvelle entité au Sénégal.
