Paris-Dauphine débarque à Casablanca

La prestigieuse université française inaugure mardi un campus dans la capitale économique du Maroc, dont elle entend faire un carrefour de la formation en gestion sur le continent et en particulier en Afrique subsaharienne.

Après Tunis en 2009, son premier campus international, la prestigieuse université française Paris-Dauphine ouvre ses portes à Casablanca, au Maroc, ce 18 octobre. Après l’autorisation obtenue du gouvernement marocain en août dernier, l’inauguration aura lieu en présence du président de l’université Laurent Batsch.

Installé au Technopark, l’un des technopôles dont s’est doté le pays, le campus proposera sept parcours « adaptés au contexte marocain », selon un communiqué de l’institution : finance islamique, immobilier, santé, audit et conseil, gestion de patrimoine, ingénierie et droit financier.

L’institution souhaite faire de Dauphine Casablanca un « hub » régional et subsaharien. « L’attente du continent en matière d’éducation est importante et les offres locales sont encore insuffisantes », poursuit le communiqué.

Accélération en Afrique subsaharienne

En plus de ses campus, Paris-Dauphine compte 280 conventions de partenariat académique dans le monde, 20 doubles diplômes internationaux, 15 programmes délocalisés à l’étranger et forme plus de 700 managers par an dans 13 pays. En Afrique, l’université est partenaire de l’Institut d’administration des entreprises (IAE) de Paris qui offre, via des écoles privées locales, des MBA à Alger, Dakar et Maurice.

Désormais, l’institution veut s’implanter directement en Afrique subsaharienne. Laurent Batsch, aimerait convaincre les grandes entreprises françaises qui ont besoin de cadres intermédiaires de l’accompagner financièrement dans ce projet. Il a d’ailleurs approché le groupe Bolloré il y a quelques semaines.
