Si l’on en croit certains médias marocains, le comité mixte hispano-marocain, organe de pilotage du tunnel de Gibraltar, devrait se réunir avant avril 2023. Une réunion officielle qui devrait réactiver ce projet titanesque, esquissé par les souverains Hassan II et Juan Carlos lors d’une rencontre historique organisée en juin 1979 à Fès. Censé, à l’origine, « se réunir au moins une fois par semestre », le comité mixte ne s’est plus tenu depuis 2009 et, malgré quelques évolutions, le projet semble patiner.
